Looking back into the archives for a few soup recipes. These rainy days bring that to mind soup and sandwiches. An added plus is that you can throw them together and let them simmer all day in crock pot if you have more important things to do such as looking at craft magazines for your next adventure.

This was a few years back and it was during Sun Fun at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I love our beach! We are so lucky to live within a short distance from our shores. This was held as a part of that festival at Market Commons.
Today I share with you my meeting Eric Braeden from The Young & The Restless and numerous other shows.

Spotlight of the Week
Her books are popular in the Carolina's as well as national and international.
She joins Mark Twain as one of the few authors who has been awarded the prestigious "Jefferson Davis Historical Gold Medal" by The United Daughters of the Confederacy. Her books have also been on the bestseller lists on Amazon.
As a history reenactor, she says that writing comes natural to her. She was often asked questions that led her into countless hours of research and the more she discovered the more she had to share. She is quoted to say, "History is a never-ending story waiting to be told."
She says it is exciting to receive emails from people all over the world.
She has had people as far away as Australia plan their American holiday around a trip to Stanly County and Concord.
Her Historical fiction books include:
Lizzie After the War
You may purchase Nancy's books. Click Here
Also Amazon, Kindle and Nook.
She is currently in the midst of writing:

Straight from the pages of
"Carolina Rain" and "Beyond Sandy Ridge"
Nancy says, " I don't just believe in God. I KNOW him. I have seen him, he talks to me and he comforts me in times of need. I have worked hard, but it was God that gave me the strength, the determination and the talents. Everything that I am, or will be, it is by his grace I have received. If you think this is old fashion, so be it."
Vernon Brewer (Nancy's husband) on the left and General Lee on the right.
Can be believe the resemblance? It is amazing.
Nancy I want to thank you for sharing your talent and wonderful photographs with us, and I can't wait to read your books.
