Product Review: Splash Brands Clever Me MemoVase Plus Giveaway!

I was glad to hear from this company.  A lot of work went into the design of this pretty heart shaped vase.  It is very versatile in that you can put your own message on it & to anyone!  How versatile is that?  I can see a good number of uses for this.  Valentine's Day, Birthdays, Mother's Day, Wedding Day, Bridal Shower, Friend gift, all sorts of reasons for a thoughtful gift such as this.  Imagine visiting a friend or loved one in the hospital with a personal not written just for them. I asked Janine to tell me a little bit about their company and this is what she said:

We are a small five person company with based in Duesseldorf, Germany and Satellite Beach, USA.  What's unique about us is that we develop all of our products from scratch.  We think about unique ideas and then work with industrial designers and partner factories to turn them into reality.

More often than not, it takes us years from the first sketch to the finished product.

The MemoVase was developed in collaboration with industrial designer Scott Doty.

The biggest challenge turned out to be the material.  Typical ceramics or porcelain did not support the heart shape.  When the product came out of the kiln, it was always way deformed.  So we had to find a factory with a special ceramic mix and kiln technique to finally achieve the desired shape.

Another challenge was the opening in the front.  Typical ceramic tolerances are too high to fit the whiteboard precisely.

It took us many more prototypes and engineering hours than we had ever imagined to get it right.

This was designed and assembled right here in the U S.

The vase is 8 inches high and can be used with any whiteboard marker.  A black one is included.
